This is the personal portfolio of an independent game developer. It has no database, no user accounts and no advertising. Here is the little data that is involved when you visit.
Who is responsible
The data controller for this website is Simone Filippini, a private individual based in Italy, acting outside any business activity. You can get in touch at simone@lampersandl.games.
What this site collects
The site itself collects nothing. There is no registration, no comment section and no database: every page is built from a fixed set of files.
The server that hosts the site keeps standard access logs. Those logs may contain your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. They exist for technical operation, troubleshooting and security, which is the legitimate interest that justifies them under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The hosting provider keeps them for a short period and they are never used to profile visitors or build a marketing list.
The hosting provider, Aruba S.p.A., processes those logs as a data processor. Its own privacy information is at https://www.aruba.it/documents/tc-files/it/11_it_privacy_policy_aruba_spa.aspx.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies at all and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics, no tracking pixel and no advertising network. That is also why you are not asked to click through a consent banner.
Links to external stores and social platforms, such as a game's Steam page, are plain links. Nothing is loaded from those services while you are here, and they only learn about you if you choose to follow the link.
How the language is chosen
When you open the site without naming a language, the address you land on is chosen from the language your browser declares in every request it makes. That preference is read once, used to pick a destination, and then forgotten: it is not stored, not written to your browser and not combined with anything else. Picking a language by hand always wins, and the choice lives in the address itself.
Fonts and other external resources
Everything you see, including the typefaces, images and video, is served directly from this website. No request goes to any third-party server while you browse, so no other company learns that you were here.
Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to simone@lampersandl.games and you will get an answer within a month. Because so little data is involved, in most cases the honest answer will be that nothing is held about you beyond the hosting provider's logs.
If you think your data has been handled improperly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or to the supervisory authority of the country where you live.

Changes to this page
If the site starts doing something new with data, such as statistics, a newsletter or an embedded player, this page is updated before that goes live, and the date at the top changes with it.
